If you’re wondering the streets or home watching TV
Feeling bored, undecided, full of melancholy
Grab your coat, get your hat, turn that sadness to glee
Come and join our French party at the mighty Wheaty
You won’t hear a bar of Lennon or McCartney
But your hearts will be filled with a French melody
We will step back in history, remembering things past
All things French should I say, as it is Bastille Day
When the French all rose up, kicked the crown, let him down
Wasn’t fun for King Louis, but we’ll have a blast!
