Award-winning music and cabaret act Lou Blackwell and the French Set are coming to Plant 4 Bowden for Fringe 2024 with their show CONTINENTAL DRIFT where celebrated Adelaide French singer Lou Blackwell and her wonderful musicians invite you to an hour of beautiful music, dangerous rhythm and even a little moonlight and romance!
After winning a 2023 Fringe cabaret award for their production Love on the Left Bank, the story of legendary French chanteuse Juliette Gréco, Lou and the band will perform a finely selected, continental cocktail of some of their well-loved French songs, new French songs, and songs from other places. Featuring Mark Simeon Ferguson on keys, Tom Pulford on saxophone and clarinet, John Aué on double bass and Zed Crawford on drums.
The venue offers tabled seating and a bar to create a nice cabaret vibe. Selected eateries will also be open in Plant 3 next door for anyone interested in dining after the show.
